Free Activities With Kids In Naples FL
Team Towers set out this beautiful Saturday to show you some fun free activities to do with kids in Naples, FL! Bill and Anne are happy to report that fun was had by all. Come join us as we stroll through the wonderful Farmer’s Market on 3rd Street South. Fresh produce, ice cream, and gourmet pastries abound, but the kids just loved meeting all of the dogs from the other patrons walking around. Everyone is super friendly in the fun casual setting. The exotic tropical pet birds accompanying some live music added a nice touch.
After taking in all of those sights and delicious smells, we sauntered over to a local coffee shop for a cool drink while the kids scarfed down a couple mini cinnamon buns. This downtown Naples area is packed with high end clothing shops, restaurants, art galleries, etc. Just walk down the sidewalk for a couple of minutes, and you’ll feel like you’re also at a car show with all of the fancy rides around town. Bill thinks the winner on this trip was an electric blue Ferrari 488 Spider.
Next we headed north a little bit to the Home Depot store off of Pine Ridge Road and Naples Blvd. This store puts on a great free toy building experience for the little ones. Today we had a blast building a wooden tug boat and painting it. Hammers, screwdrivers, and paint brushes were flying everywhere! At the end of it, we walked away with a cute little toy that the kids take extra pride in since they helped build it. On the way out, an extended visit to the Halloween decorations area was in order. They have tons of big animatronic statues that will definitely spook you. The kids were especially fond of the big werewolf masks!
We all worked up a little hunger from building toys. So, we drove west towards Waterside Shopping Mall where we grabbed a healthy lunch at True Food Kitchen. The banana pancakes were a big hit with the kiddos.
After lunch we drove a little bit further west and south to hit a beautiful private beach in the Park Shore area. Naples has some of the best beaches in the entire state of Florida (in our humble opinion). Our little guy, Jake, had his first go with kite flying. Success was limited, but fun was had. Thankfully we had plenty of toys to play with in the sand. It helps to have a cool little wagon to haul them around with. Usually it’s the simple things that keep their attention the longest. Nothing beats a little bucket and sand digger!
Thanks for joining Team Towers for a fun day with (mostly) free activities to do with your kids in Naples, FL! We look forward to meeting you and showing you around town ourselves soon.
